As the Gulf Coast braces for areas of heavy rain, the southeastern section of Arkansas could receive 2-3 inches of precipitation through early next week, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock

Showers are likely in Arkadelphia beginning Saturday evening, mainly after midnight, with a 60% chance of precipitation.
The chances for rain increase to 100% by Sunday, with highs in the mid 50s. Rain chances will wane by Sunday night, with temperatures holding steady until skies clear Monday and make way for a high near 65.
Monday’s chance of rainfall is 20% that evening, a low around 44.
Sunny skies are in the forecast for the first part of next week, with cold nights with lows in the mid 20s and highs in the low 50s.
