Taxes due October 15

The deadline to pay personal property and real estate taxes in Clark County is Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024.

As of Monday, 70% of the $16,260,565 charge has been paid, chief deputy Collector Tina Martin said in an email. Collections on both personal and real estate so far have totaled $11,478,665.

There are many ways to pay taxes: in person at the tax collector’s office, by mail, phone or online. CLICK HERE to begin the process of paying online.

The collector’s office is located downstairs of the Clark County Courthouse at 401 Clay St. The office is the first door on the left as you enter from the Clay Street side. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The collector’s office will be open Monday, Oct. 14, despite the Columbus Day federal holiday.

There is also a drop box on Crittenden Street near the south entrance of the courthouse.

Checks should be made payable to Clark County Tax Collector.

Taxes will be delinquent after the Oct. 15 deadline, and a 10% penalty will be assessed after that.
