Documents released Friday afternoon officially identified the buyer of the former Central Primary School building in Arkadelphia.
The Arkadelphia Board of Education on Tuesday, Sept. 17, will consider a resolution authorizing Superintendent Nikki Thomas to sign closing documents on the Central property.
The resolution identifies Roger and Kadre Wingfield, of Arkadelphia, as prospective buyers of the property at a $215,000 price tag.
In 2021 the campus was appraised at $1.29 million.
The property was later listed for $690,000, then reduced to $575,000 by November 2023.
In other business the school board is expected to hear from the Peake Alumni Foundation/Buffaloes Foundation, apparently regarding the mascot being used at Peake Elementary School.
