Charles Neil Ledbetter, age 77, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Nightingale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. He was born October 26, 1946, in Bismarck, the son of the late George Washington and Mary Louise Taylor Ledbetter.
Charles was a Baptist by faith. He was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Charles owned and operated Charles Ledbetter Logging Company for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Charles is survived by his wife, Connie Serrano Ledbetter of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Jackie Hopkins (Larry) of Hot Springs, three sons, Rusty Ledbetter (Angela) of Gurdon, Randy Ledbetter (Jaime) of Gurdon and Johnny Ledbetter (Amy) of Arkadelphia, one brother, Wayne Ledbetter of Hot Springs, two sisters, Betty Cash of Malvern and Susie Lovell of Bismarck, nine grandchildren, Jacob Ledbetter, Rachel Mount, Reid Ledbetter, Rhett Ledbetter, David Ledbetter, Audrey Ledbetter, Jack Hopkins, Coco Hopkins and Joe Ocean Hopkins.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at Delight Cemetery with Bro. Charlie Williams officiating.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are sons and grandsons.
