Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Harassing communications was reported at the 3000 block of West Pine Street.
Monday, May 27
5:04 p.m.
Donald Ray Williams, 58, of Arkadelphia, was arrested at Cox Mobile Manor, 3027 Pine St. #44, for third-degree domestic battery following a female’s report of abuse.
Wednesday, May 29
2:15 p.m.
Officers were summoned to Atwood’s for a theft complaint. A customer reportedly shoplifted a pair of lithium power tool batteries valued at $279. The suspect, identified as a white male, ran past the registers and got into the passenger side of a blue 2000-2001 extended cab Ford F-150 that fled east.
3:39 p.m.
Verbal abuse toward a resident was reported at Twin Rivers Health & Rehab, 3021 Twin Rivers Dr. It was noted that the accused employee was on administrative leave for a separate incident under internal investigation.
4:24 p.m.
A Carpenter Hill Apartments woman reported being victim of harassing communications by a known person. She was advised of affidavit procedures and to contact the prosecuting attorney.
Thursday, May 30
10:34 a.m.
The manager at the Beehive thrift store reported that a review of security footage showed a white male and female stealing unknown items from the rear donation dock in the pre-dawn hours of May 27 and May 29. The suspects left in what appeared to be a maroon sedan.
1:44 p.m.
A Creekwood Drive resident reported a known suspect stole her vehicle’s license plates.
Friday, May 31
4:33 a.m.
A Gresham Street woman reported arriving home from work to find her carport door ajar. An officer was unable to find any evidence of forced entry, and nothing appeared to be missing.

8:26 p.m.
Danny N. Wilson, 47, of Arkadelphia, was cited at Walmart for theft of property following a store complaint of a customer who attempted to leave without paying for a vehicle battery.
Saturday, June 1
Police investigated a vehicle breaking or entering at the 1800 block of Sylvia Street. No further details were available as the Arkadelphia Police Department withholds information contained in felony reports.
11:06 p.m.
Shanekqua Mechelle Sonnier, 19, of Arkadelphia, was arrested at Carpenter Hill Apartments for resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, public intoxication and obstructing governmental operations. Officers were summoned to the apartment complex for a disturbance, and upon arrival discovered an aggressive Sonnier wielding a liquor bottle. During the arrest, Sonnier was tasered in her back outside the apartment.
Sunday, June 2
1:20 a.m.
Zane Alexander Rosewell, 21, of Arkadelphia, was arrested at a North 13th Street location for DWI and leaving the scene of an accident. A caller had advised police of an accident near 12th and Richardson streets, and upon arrival at Rosewell’s location observed a black Nissan Frontier emitting smoke from the hood, with severe damage to the front of the vehicle and its front passenger wheel “barely” attached.
12:57 p.m.
Tyran One Jackson, 39, of Arkadelphia, was cited at Walmart for theft of property following a store complaint of a shoplifter who concealed groceries in a backpack and exited through the garden center.
10:16 p.m.
Latasia Locole Williams, 35, was cited at 12th and Haddock streets for driving with a suspended license. Police were initially called to a South 11th Street residence for a report of a female causing damage to a parked vehicle, and were directed to the area where that person fled. The damaged vehicle had a flattened tire and broken windshield, with pieces of cinder block discovered nearby. Williams denied involvement in damaging the vehicle, which belongs to an ex.
Police investigated a hit-and-run accident involving death or physical injury at the 3000 block of Pine Street. No additional details are included as felony reports are not available for public inspection at the Arkadelphia Police Department.

Monday, May 27
1:40 p.m.
An Interstate 30 traveler from Lafayette, Indiana, reported his vehicle sustained damage when a brick fell from another vehicle’s trailer. The other driver reportedly offered the traveler $200 for damages to the front driver side, which a deputy described as “significant.” Speaking to the deputy, however, the other driver denied that the brick could have fallen from his trailer.
Saturday, June 1
A Bobo Road, Okolona, man reported the theft of a 2016 Forrest River 26-foot camper, brown and tan in color. The complainant said the camper had been stolen sometime in the past week.
