In partnership with the Clark County Farmer’s Market, the City of Arkadelphia is hosting its first “Main Street Farmer’s Market” on Saturday, June 8, in downtown Arkadelphia.
The 4-hour pop-up event will begin at 7 a.m. at the corner of 8th and Main streets. The event will feature vendors from the Clark County Farmer’s Market and booths from local businesses. Local food truck Three-Seven Catering will also be in attendance serving specialty breakfast items.
“We’ve been talking about doing this event for over a year now,” Halle Posey, special events manager for the City of Arkadelphia, said. “The thought of bringing the vendors downtown, showcasing their products, getting small businesses involved – We’re just so excited. We love the [Clark County] Farmer’s Market, and hope this helps bring attention to their incredible vendors and the 2024 season.”
The Clark County Farmer’s Market is hosting its first event of the season on Saturday, June 1, from 7 a.m. until noon at the Central Park pavilion. The farmer’s market will begin hosting biweekly events on Wednesdays and Saturdays following the June 1 kick-off. As of now, June 8 is the only date the farmer’s market will not be held at Central Park for the 2024 season.
The Main Street Farmer’s Market will end at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8. Small businesses interested in setting up booths at the Main Street Farmer’s Market should email Posey (halle.posey@arkadelphia.gov) by June 1, 2024.
