Linda Lee Worack, age 86, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, March 25, 2024, at her home. She was born December 16, 1937, in Ripley, TN, the daughter of the late Eddie Lee and Ruth Pond Thompson.
Linda was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, painting, spending time with her friends, the ocean and was a very accomplished artist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chaz Worack, one grandson, Dale Finney and one sister, Mary Sue Armstrong.
Linda is survived by two daughters, Kelly Shuman (Barry) of Flower Mound, TX and Jaimie Eckert (Joe) of Beirne, one sister-in-law, Tuesday Worack of Arkadelphia, nine grandchildren, Ashley Beavers (Nick), Vanda Williams (Donell), Kelsey Fink (Josh), Sidney McMurray, Brandon Moore, Josie Eckert, Joseph Eckert, Stacy Shuman and Mary Beth Shuman, and twelve great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Lathem officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
