Glenda Sue Hubbard, age 70, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Nightingale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born December 15, 1953, in Hayti, MO, the daughter of the late John Wesley and Emma Patterson Kaiser, Sr.
Glenda was a former nurse at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center and Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was saved at a small church at White Oak Lake. Glenda enjoyed fishing with her husband and worked hard at making their home a special place to be.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her special mom, Melba Funderburk.
Glenda is survived by her husband, Billy Charles Hubbard of Gurdon, two sons, James Hubbard of Arkadelphia and Richard Cranfield of Arkadelphia, one brother, Raymond Funderburk of Alpine, one sister, Linda Lou Grover of Benton, one niece, Debra Fowler of Benton and one nephew, Mike Dickinson of Little Rock.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Lathem officiating.
