Paul Shuffield, local business owner and executive director of the foundation, provided a SlideShow presentation with figures from the organization’s accomplishments, both locally and throughout the state.
The Clark County Community Foundation is one of 29 Arkansas Community Foundation affiliates throughout the state. The local office is housed at the Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce, 201 N. 26th St.
Since it was founded in 2002, the Clark County Community Foundation has awarded $1.3 million in grants to local organizations, with its main focus on programs that address food insecurity, animal overpopulation and early childhood literacy.
Shuffield said the 2023 giving cycle awarded 19 grants totaling more than $21,000.
