
A Kingsland, Arkansas woman died early Monday in a one-vehicle accident at Fordyce

According to an Arkansas State Police preliminary fatal crash summary, Linda Fletcher, 62, of Kingsland, was traveling south in a 2011 Ford Flex on U.S. Highway 79 at Fordyce when she left the roadway to the right and struck an embankment.
Fletcher’s vehicle then went airborne and overturned, coming to a final rest in the upright position along the southbound ditch.
The accident happened at 3:45 a.m. Monday, Dec. 4, 2023. Investigating Trooper James Reed noted clear weather and dry road conditions.
Fletcher’s body was being held at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
