The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Sunday, Nov. 26
2:30 p.m.
Jasso Juan Hernandez, 32, of Dallas, Texas, was arrested on Highway 67 South for DWI following multiple calls of a reckless driver on Interstate 30, from Texas to Arkadelphia.

Monday, Nov. 27
Police investigated felonious criminal mischief at Baptist Health Medical Center.

11 p.m.
Officers were summoned to a trailer park on North 10th Street, where a man brandished a handgun and a female brandished a kitchen knife and cooking pot during an altercation. Neither party wished to pursue charges, and the male suspect was escorted back to his own residence.

Tuesday, Nov. 28
Police investigated a breaking or entering on Clinton Street.

An officer worked a minor in possession involving a juvenile.

3:41 p.m.
A North 16th Street man reported his home was burglarized. Nothing of value was reported missing, but the perpetrator(s) ransacked the place.

4:14 p.m.
A South 12th Street man reported his ex-girlfriend attempted to damage his motorcycle.

Wednesday, Nov. 29
An officer arrested a juvenile for possession of a controlled substance.

2 p.m.
A mailbox was reported damaged in a hit-and-run collision on Millcreek Drive.

Thursday, Nov. 30
Police investigated a felony forgery at an unlisted address.

Friday, Dec. 1
10:39 a.m.
A woman reported she had been physically abused and harassed by a known male. Officers advised her of procedures to obtain a protection order.

Saturday, Dec. 2
9:36 a.m.
An officer took a complaint of littering in the parking lot at 1205 N. 10th St., where parties are held frequently.

3:37 p.m.
A North 15th Street woman reported a female she had just met stole her laundry. The two met at a laundromat and, after some friendly conversation, dined together before the suspect gave the complainant a ride home; it was there she would speed off with the laundry in the back.

11:16 p.m.
Rolando Gutierrez-Vasquez, 26, was arrested for DWI at 15th and Pine streets following a report of a vehicle in the ditch.

An officer responded to a welfare concern involving a juvenile.

1:25 a.m.
Melvin Joe Hatley, 25, of Gurdon, was arrested for DWI at Highway 7 near Fish Net. The arresting deputy initiated the traffic stop after observing erratic driving.
