Earline Lambert

Mrs. Earline Lambert began her journey of life on March 15, 1931, in Bearden, Arkansas. Her parents were Mr. Sam lambert and Mrs. Angeline Lambert.

She moved to Arkadelphia and attended Peake High School, Class of 1951. She was baptized and united with St. Paul A.M.E. Church while under the leadership of Rev. J.C. Crier. While at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, she served as a member of the Missionary Society, Senior Choir, and Sunday School Superintendent in the Primary Department.

She finished school at the Velvet Text Beauty College and Nursing Assistant Training School at the Clark County Hospital. She later retired from Levi Strauss Company.

Later she met the love of her life, Mr. Major Bailey, and they married on May 4, 1952, by Rev. Walter White and one son was born to the union, Christopher Keith Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 7 sisters, and 5 brothers.

Mrs. Bailey will forever live in the hearts of her wonderful son, Keith (Sandra) Bailey, a special granddaughter, Kayla, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services are under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home of Arkadelphia.

Visitation is at Mitchell Funeral Home on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 12 noon- 4:00 P.M. with family and friends gathering at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Arkadelphia from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. for family hour.

The celebration of life will be at St. Paul A.M.E Church at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 19, 2023, where Rev. T.W. Scott is pastor and will serve as eulogist. The burial and final resting place will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Arkadelphia, AR.
