
Karen Kirkpatrick announced she is seeking re-election to the South Central Arkansas Electric Cooperative board.
A certified and accredited director, Kirkpatrick has served on the SCAEC board for 15 years. She has served three terms on the Arkansas Electric Cooperative Corp. and Arkansas Electric Cooperative Incorporated Board of Directors. She is certified as a Credentialed Cooperative Director and Board Leadership with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, and has Director Gold status.
Kirkpatrick and her husband Dwight are the former owners of Williams Saw Co. in downtown Arkadelphia and retired after 46 years in business. She serves on the Clark County Fair Board and is president of the Clark County Extension Homemakers, treasurer of Grace Fellowship Church, a 4-H volunteer leader, and co-chairs the Clark County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee.
