During the first half of May the Humane Society of Clark County is participating in a nationwide event that lowers regular adoption prices for dogs and cats.

The adoption event, sponsored by the BISSELL Pet Foundation, not only reduces adoption prices but also includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping.

Dogs are available for $25, and cats are $15 from May 1-15, 2024.

The shelter is located at 627 Walnut St., Arkadelphia. For more information call 870-245-2579.

BISSELL Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters national adoption event is happening at more than 410 organizations in 43 states.

“Finding a loving home for every pet is the ultimate goal of BISSELL Pet Foundation,” the organization says. “As the nation’s largest funded adoption event, Empty the Shelters helps homeless pets find families by making adoption affordable for prospective pet owners. We do this by supporting participating organizations with reimbursement for each pet adopted.”
