The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, April 22
Police investigated a theft of property valued between $1,000-$5,000 at a North 10th Street location. No details were included in the report as felony cases are not available for public inspection at the Arkadelphia Police Department.

Police investigated a first-degree criminal mischief at a Country Club Road location. No details were included in the report as felony cases are not available for public inspection at the Arkadelphia Police Department.

Tuesday, April 23
1:12 p.m.
Officers were summoned to Walmart for a report of a trespasser/banned customer. The suspect was stopped at Taco Bell’s parking lot, where police learned she had warrants in Hot Spring and Saline counties, the latter of which was out of extradition limits. While waiting on warrant confirmation from Hot Spring County, an officer went to Walmart to retrieve the ban paperwork, which the store could not produce. The woman was released from the scene.

Wednesday, April 24
12:09 a.m.
Officers investigated a report of multiple gunshots fired at Walnut Square Apartments, 1010 S. 16th St. Police located 30 spent rounds of .223 ammunition on the ground and collected them as evidence.

10:03 a.m.
An officer was called to the Youth Sports Complex, where the park caretaker complained that the soccer fields had been damaged with tire ruts.

4:30 p.m.
Annabeth Claire Wyatt, 18, of Arkadelphia, was cited at Walmart for theft of property following a store complaint of three females exiting the supermarket with a cart containing $657 worth of unpaid groceries.

Thursday, April 25
2:40 p.m.
Officers detained a possibly intoxicated female in a wooded area off of North 24th Street, as she was convinced her children had been buried out there. An officer was able to locate both of her offspring, alive and well. The woman was transported to the hospital. Her dog was maced in the face for its apparent aggressive behavior toward officers. No arrest was made.

Police investigated the fraudulent use of a credit card at a location on W.P. Malone Drive. No details were included in the report as felony cases are not available for public inspection at the Arkadelphia Police Department.

Friday, April 26
6:59 p.m.
A Robin Lane woman reported her neighbor keeps tearing out the underpinning of her mobile home to free her cats. Officers knocked at the cat lady’s door but she wasn’t home right meow.

Saturday, April 27
8:30 a.m.
The theft of $450 worth of flower arrangements and plants was reported from the front of Mary & Martha’s Florist & Gifts, 800 Clinton St.

11:21 a.m.
A Creekwood Drive woman reported the theft of her vehicle license plate, 414 XHV.

12:30 p.m.
A motorist complained that a broken manhole cover at the 2700 block of Pine Street caused damage to the undercarriage and tires of her SUV. The city water department’s on-call employee was notified and replaced the cover.

Police were in pursuit of a fleeing suspect on W.P. Malone Drive. No details were included in the report as felony cases are not available for public inspection at the Arkadelphia Police Department.

Sunday, April 28
12:41 p.m.
Allison Leigh McKittrick, 44, of Arkadelphia, was arrested for misdemeanor fleeing at 1612 Phillips St. McKittrick allegedly fled from an officer at the Walgreen’s parking lot after management phoned police to report a shoplifter still parked in front of the store. An officer approached the suspect’s vehicle, but the request went unheeded as the suspect backed out and drove out of the parking lot. Officers patrolled the city in search of the suspect, and one retrieved her address from the Arkansas Crime Information Center. Police went to the address, found the vehicle parked there, made contact with McKittrick and arrested her.

4:24 p.m.
Officers responded to Twin Rivers Health & Rehab, 3021 Twin Rivers Dr., for a physical altercation between two elderly residents. One was treated by an on-call doctor for a scratch on his head.

5:35 p.m.
A Pine Street man reported the unauthorized use of his red Dodge Ram with a blue camper shell, saying his adult son had taken the vehicle early Saturday morning and hadn’t returned. A relative apparently had seen the truck in Hot Springs near Grand and Central avenues.

11:16 p.m.
Andrew Karch Culp, 37, of El Dorado, was arrested at the Baptist Health Medical Center Emergency Room for public intoxication following a request from hospital staff to remove him from the property. Culp had been detained in Gurdon for the same offense but was released when he requested an ambulance for reasons undocumented in the Arkadelphia report.

Thursday, April 18
2:11 p.m.
Theft was reported at a hunting camp at Military and Jack Creek roads. Items reported stolen were a black 2011 Kawasaki 400 ATV, a Honda generator, and a 5’x10′ Texas Bragg single-axle utility trailer.

Tuesday, April 23
7:40 a.m.
Harassing phone calls was reported at a Jones Street residence in Gum Springs.

Friday, April 26
11:15 a.m.
The theft of three checks was reported at a Highway 346, Amity, residence. Two of the stolen checks had not yet been cashed.

5:01 p.m.
A deputy was summoned to a Whelen Road, Gurdon, residence for a report of a verbal altercation.
