Mattie was widely known for her baked treats. She made pound cakes, biscuits from scratch, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. Her prized chicken and dressing belonged on a restaurant menu.

Nothing made him happier than enjoying time on the water with his loved ones. He loved to fish, pull people behind the boat in tubes, or just throw out the anchor in a secluded spot to jump in the water and lounge on a noodle.

Norman Steele Johns, age 66, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia.

Linda was so many good things, but all agree that family was her number one. Gatherings with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were some of her happiest times.

Gene was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
