Mrs. Hewitt’s true joy was her family, especially time spent with her 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Reared and educated in Clark County, E.B. played all sports, and was particularly fond of basketball. In later years he officiated high school games, and was Little League baseball chief umpire for many years in Malvern.

Danny was always a hard worker, never met a stranger and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a passion for driving fast cars and fast boats, he just had that fearless personality.

Sarah married Robert T. Thompson in 1944. They owned and operated Hank’s Country House Restaurant in Arkadelphia for many years. She was known to make the best chocolate pies. She enjoyed golf, playing bridge, and antiquing.

Patricia was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She married William Beavers and they shared a beautiful life together until his passing in 2013. She was a former employee of General Dynamics and ConAgra.

Mattie was widely known for her baked treats. She made pound cakes, biscuits from scratch, banana pudding, and peach cobbler. Her prized chicken and dressing belonged on a restaurant menu.
