Primary election season is in full swing now that the March 1 deadline to file for public office has passed. With eight of the 11 county’s justice of the peace districts being contested, campaigns are gearing up with each candidate hopeful for a win in the May primary.

Erin Arnold announced candidacy for the office of Clark County Assessor in the upcoming Republican Primary.
Wayne Baumgardner has announced that he will seek re-election as Justice of the Peace District 10, having served in this position since being sworn in on January 1, 2021.
Andrea Angle announced she is seeking re-election for Clark County Justice of The Peace, District 9. She has served as Justice of the Peace since January 2021.
Garry “B.J.” Johns has announced that he will be seeking re-election as Justice of the Peace, District #8.
