The Arkadelphia Board of Education has begun the interviewing process to fill the Arkadelphia Public School District superintendent position Karla Neathery vacated in February.

Motl said the board has curated a “short list” of interviewees from the applicant pool and will schedule interviews once those applicants’ availability is confirmed.
Arkadelphia Public Schools will finance the $856,356 project, said Jimmy King, the school district’s director of support services.
