Letter to the Editor: Nurses are appreciated

As we celebrate CNA Week 2026, I would like to take this opportunity to recognize and thank the exceptional Certified Nursing Assistants at Twin Rivers Rehab for their outstanding service and dedication.

Our CNAs are the foundation of quality care. They provide compassionate support, comfort, and encouragement to our residents every day. Whether assisting with daily activities, offering a reassuring smile, or simply taking the time to listen, they make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

The work of a CNA requires skill, patience, empathy, and commitment. I have the privilege of seeing firsthand the compassion and dedication our CNAs demonstrate every day. Their work is demanding, yet they continue to show up with kindness, grace, and a genuine commitment to the people in their care. They are often the reason a resident smiles, feels heard, or feels at home.

At Twin Rivers Rehab, we are fortunate to have a team of caregivers who embody our mission of providing exceptional care. Their dedication not only enhances the lives of our residents but also brings comfort and peace of mind to families who trust us with the care of their loved ones. They build relationships that extend far beyond their daily responsibilities and create an environment where residents feel valued, respected, and cared for.

On behalf of the residents, families, staff, and administration of Twin Rivers Rehab, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to our CNA team. Thank you for your hard work, compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Your contributions are invaluable, and we are proud to honor and celebrate you during CNA Week 2026.

To each CNA at Twin Rivers Rehab: thank you for the countless acts of kindness, the long hours, and the dedication you bring to your work each day. You make a difference in the lives of our residents, and we are grateful for all that you do.

Sincerely,

Nico Marusiak, LNHA
