NuFusion, Henderson State University’s student jazz ensemble, will perform a free public concert outdoors on Henderson’s Quad Friday, April 17, 2026, around 7:45 p.m., or as it becomes dark.
The performance will feature a wide range of instrumental and vocal music by artists such as Paul McCartney, Led Zepplin, Abba, Elton John, and many more.
NuFusion includes about 20 student musicians and features a standard big band horn and rhythm section with lead and background vocalists.
Music social groups will be selling snacks and drinks. Some seating will be provided, but guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets.
The Quad area is located between the Garrison Center and Russell Fine Arts building.
