Chapter BG is proud to announce its 2025 STAR Scholarship recipient, Kelsey Boyles.
A 2025 graduate of Arkadelphia High School, Boyles is now attending Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, where she is majoring in forensic science. She remains active in volunteer service both within the university and the local community.
The chapter presented Kelsey with the P.E.O. International STAR Scholarship during a recent meeting.
P.E.O. (Philanthropic Educational Organization) is a nonprofit women’s organization dedicated to motivating, educating and celebrating women. Founded January 21, 1869, at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, the sisterhood has grown to include more than half a million members across the United States and Canada, all committed to helping women advance through education.
P.E.O. takes great pride in transforming the lives of women by providing grants, scholarships, awards and loans for higher education, and by owning and supporting Cottey College, a distinguished liberal arts college dedicated solely to women.
Grounded in friendship and inclusion, P.E.O. fosters a strong sense of belonging while encouraging women to pursue their educational goals.
Arkadelphia is home to two P.E.O. chapters: BB and BG.
