From the Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce
The Arkadelphia Regional Economic Development Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce is currently recruiting members for Leadership Clark County Class XI. We are pleased to continue this program, now celebrating its 11th cohort, because knowledgeable and skilled leaders are critical to the growth of Clark County.
This program is designed for those who are committed to shaping the future and aimed at developing and encouraging local leadership, as well as supporting the character and heritage of Clark County. The program seeks to produce a networked group of leaders who understand the county’s special sense of place and share a common commitment to support and sustain our economy.
Please see the tentative schedule below and make note that the April Orientation is a mandatory event for all class members. Full day sessions will follow the retreat with a graduation celebration occurring iat the 2027 Annual Chamber Banquet. There will be one overnight event to include the Legislative Reception held during the 2027 Legislative Session.
A wide variety of speakers and panelists will help participants develop effective leadership skills and knowledge in a wide range of topics. Current topics include Clark County history, education, natural resources, economic development, state government, local government, healthcare, and tourism.
Tuition for the program is set at $500 per participant and includes all meals and activities during each session and your Leadership Clark County polo shirt and name tag.
