An Amity man has been sentenced to prison after he pleaded guilty Tuesday morning, Jan. 6, to sexual assault.
According to Clark County Prosecuting Attorney Dan Turner, 27-year-old Bradley Ryan Neighbors pled guilty in circuit court to the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl. Judge Blake Batson handed down a sentence of 48 months in prison and 18 months suspended.
The charges stemmed from a case filed in March 2025. According to the affidavit filed by Clark County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Sherry Cleek, in October 2024, Deputy Justin Tucker went to Neighbors’s home in response to a report that he had been caught in bed with the teen girl. As Neighbors was wanted on a warrant out of neighboring Montgomery County, he was taken into custody at that time.
The girl, interviewed at the Percy and Donna Malone Child Safety Center, admitted that she had immoral relations with the suspect. In an interview with police a few days later, Neighbors also admitted that he and the girl had had relations on two occasions.
Sexual Assault is a Class B felony.
Turner said Neighbors was already serving a prison sentence for a sexual assault case in Montgomery County. Details of that case were not immediately available at the time of this writing.
The sentences will run consecutively, Turner said.
