ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas — Henderson State University hosted its annual scholarship recognition event, titled An Evening Full of Heart, on Oct. 14, 2025, to celebrate scholarship donors, recipients, and university supporters.
Among the honorees were Christopher Urieta Herrera, a senior majoring in Criminal Justice, and Zoe Mayberry, a senior majoring in Special Education. Both were recognized as recipients of the Elaine Kneebone “Born Reddie” Scholarship.
Established in 2020 by Elaine Kneebone’s friends, family, and colleagues, the scholarship honors Kneebone for her dedicated service to Henderson State University as its former Acting President and General Counsel. Kneebone, an estate planning and elder law attorney practicing in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, attended the event to congratulate the 2025 recipients personally.
“It was a wonderful opportunity to meet and recognize Zoe and Christopher,” Kneebone said. “Supporting these remarkable, hardworking students is deeply meaningful, and I am honored to assist them on their paths.”
