Benjamin Martin named hospitalist at Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia

ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas — Hospitalist Benjamin Martin, MD, is now providing care to patients at Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia.

Dr. Martin, a native of Hot Springs, received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest.

“I am committed to empowering my patients through education, ensuring they are well-informed about their disease process(es), treatment options, and care plans,” Dr. Martin said. “It is imperative to foster open communication and collaboration as this will support an environment of patient confidence and engagement. Ultimately, my goal is to deliver personalized, compassionate care that not only addresses immediate needs but also promotes long-term wellness and quality of life.”

Dr. Martin is certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia has served Southwest Arkansas since 1981. The 25-bed hospital provides comprehensive services including emergency services, CT Scan, MRI, digital mammography, labor and delivery, orthopedics and sleep studies.

The hospital’s Emergency Department is a Level IV trauma center, which means it has demonstrated the ability to provide advanced trauma life support (ATLS) prior to the transfer of patients to a higher-level trauma center.
