A special meeting has been called Monday, Sept. 22, 2025, for Clark County Justices of the Peace to discuss the findings of the Requests for Qualifications of two ambulance service providers vying for a contract to respond to emergency medical calls.
The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the Clark County Circuit Courtroom at 419 Clay St., Arkadelphia.
Representatives from both Pafford EMS and Valor EMS are expected to be in attendance to field questions from members of the quorum court.
The agenda does not specify whether a decision will be made at the special meeting.
A Freedom of Information Act request seeking an inspection of the RFQs was submitted via email to the county judge’s office by The Arkadelphian on Wednesday of this week. Friday, the judge’s office replied via email that as long as the RFQs are under review they are not subject to FOIA.
