HSU awards Distinguished Freshman Scholarships to 6 students

Six Henderson State University freshmen have been awarded Distinguished Freshman Scholarships for the 2025-26 academic school year. These full-tuition scholarships are awarded to a select number of students based on academic excellence and an application and interview process.

The 2025-26 Henderson State Distinguished Freshman Scholarship recipients are:

“We are honored to welcome these six exceptional students to Henderson State University,” said Dr. Trey Berry, Henderson chancellor. “Earning the Distinguished Freshman Scholarship is a tremendous accomplishment that reflects hard work, dedication, and academic excellence. We are proud that these students have chosen Henderson State to pursue their education, and we look forward to supporting them as they grow, achieve, and contribute to our university community.”
