Excelsior Universal Lodge will host its 120th Second of August Picnic at 175 Wood St. in Gum Springs on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025.
The event will feature a complimentary blues concert, with six acts performing.
Following the first act, Fred Love, Democratic gubernatorial candidate for Arkansas governor, will be in attendance to introduce himself to Clark County residents. Following his introduction, there will be a roundtable discussion with Love and community leaders within the facility.
There will be pop-up vendors, food trucks and bounce houses at the event, as well as a back-to-school drive with free backpacks.
Gates open at noon, and performances begin at 7 p.m.
