The community is invited to attend a Meet and Greet for Ike, Arkadelphia’s famous arson detection dog.
Lt. Beau Bishop of the Arkadelphia Fire Department is Ike’s handler. Meet Ike and Bishop and see them in action this Thursday, May 1, 2025 beginning at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 107 N. 9th St.
The event will also host Les Kent, interim director of the Humane Society of Clark County. Kent will be on hand to answer any questions related to the needs of the local animal shelter, and to give a progress report on the shelter.
Refreshments will be served. Any supplies and donations for the shelter will be appreciated.
