Arkadelphia High School senior Sydney Covington was recognized at a school board meeting Tuesday, April 15, 2025 with a Badger Pride Award.
Covington recently earned his third consecutive state Diving Championship. In doing so, he set a new 4A-1A Men’s 1-meter state diving record two years in a row.
Covington earned 396.7 points in timed finals for an overall score of 20. Behind him in the 11-dive event were sophomore Badger Spencer Seel (337.8 points, score of 17) and junior Badger Timothy Levar (245.7 points, score of 16).
