ARKADELPHIA — Ouachita Baptist University students are hosting a community event at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2025 to support the Pregnancy Resource Center for Southwest Arkansas.
The “Walk for Life” will feature a 1.7-mile walk or run through downtown Arkadelphia, with participants also having the option to complete the route twice for a 5K challenge.
The event is part of a social entrepreneurship class project, where OBU students have teamed up with the Pregnancy Resource Center to raise funds and awareness for its important services. The walk is free to attend, but participants are encouraged to register in advance.
All donations collected will go directly to support the center’s mission. The event will also include food trucks, music, games and stroller racing for individuals to participate in. Event organizers are encouraging the Arkadelphia community to get involved and attend the walk to show their support for this local cause.
