$3.221M LOTTO Jackpot extends game record

Arkansas lottery players could win big this week with draw games played and won exclusively in the state.

Soaring to $3.221 million, Wednesday night’s LOTTO jackpot extends its record as the highest jackpot in the game’s history. Its previous highest jackpot of $2.338 million was claimed in May 2023.

LOTTO is a draw game that is played and won only in Arkansas. It is designed to give Arkansas players a chance to win bigger prizes.

Drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 9 p.m. Six numbers between 1 and 40 plus a bonus number are drawn. A player must match the first six numbers drawn in any order to win the jackpot. Alternate prizes up to $25,000 are available for players who match three or more winning numbers, with or without the bonus number.

LOTTO tickets cost $2 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 8:59 p.m. the night of the drawing.

The Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) also rises to $470,000 for tonight’s drawing. Following its transition to daily draws in April 2024, the game saw its highest-ever jackpot of $600,000, claimed in July.

This Arkansas-exclusive draw game’s jackpot starts at $50,000 and then increases by $5,000 every draw until it reaches $100,000. After that, it increases by $10,000 with each draw.

NSJ drawings occur daily at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $1 per play, and ticket sales cut off at 7:59 p.m.

LOTTO and NSJ tickets are available for purchase at licensed Arkansas lottery retailers and online. Visit the Where to Play page on the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery website for a list of online options.

All draw game winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prize. Players must be at least 18 years old to purchase a lottery ticket.
