The Arkadelphia Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that applications for Leadership Clark County Class X, presented by Citizens Bank, are now available. We are pleased to continue this program, now celebrating its 10th cohort, because knowledgeable and skilled leaders are critical to the growth of Clark County.
This program is designed for those who are committed to shaping the future and aimed at developing and encouraging local leadership, as well as supporting the character and heritage of Clark County. The program seeks to produce a networked group of leaders who understand the county’s special sense of place and share a common commitment to support and sustain our economy.
The program will commence with orientation on Sept. 26-27 at Iron Mountain Lodge & Marina and will continue over the course of the next nine months. During the program, participants will dive into an array of pivotal topics including local history, education, agriculture, forestry, healthcare, tourism, and state and local government.
“Leadership Clark County is designed to advance the development of existing and emerging Clark County business leaders, and we cannot wait to welcome this year’s class,” said Shelley Short, President & CEO of the Arkadelphia Alliance. “I encourage anyone that wants to deepen their community involvement to apply for this career-building program.”
Tuition for the program is set at $500 per participant and includes all meals and activities during each session and your Leadership Clark County polo shirt and name tag. A limited number of scholarships are available to help cover a portion of the tuition cost.
If you are an emerging leader committed to shaping the future of our county, we encourage you to apply. Interested candidates may access the application online at arkadelphiaalliance.com/leadershipcc. The application deadline is Wednesday, July 31.
