A student expulsion will highlight the Arkadelphia Board of Education agenda meeting this week.
Aside from planning the next school board meeting, there are two items of discussion on the agenda: personnel and a student expulsion.
The school board will likely meet in executive session to discuss any personnel matters. Though none are listed on the agenda, the school district on Wednesday began advertising on social media an opening for an assistant band director. The school district filled all three of its positions for band instructors prior to the start of the 2022-2023 school year.
The expulsion of “Student #2223-A” is also on the table for discussion.
The meeting is at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022, at Dawson Building #3, 700 Clinton St., Arkadelphia. The meeting is open to the public.
