Officers responded to the 200 block of Clay Street, where a man reported two known suspects physically assaulted him inside his home. The assailants fled the scene once they learned the man’s girlfriend had called the police.

Wednesday, Aug. 4
10:20 a.m.
A Wilshire Drive woman reported someone struck her mailbox/light pole.

4:17 p.m.
A Caddo Valley man reported the theft of his 1981 Pontiac Grand Prix from his grandmother’s yard on the 1600 block of Caddo Street. He told police he had checked with the local scrap yard, and the proprietor said a Grand Prix had been sold there in the past couple weeks but he couldn’t recall any other details of the vehicle.

7:45 p.m.
Officers responded to a residence at 16th and Gresham streets for a domestic disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend.

  1. I’m betting the Grand Prix wasn’t driven to the scrap yard. Probably an eye sore in Grandma’s yard that she wanted out of the way.
