140th annual encampment set at Davidson United Methodist Campground

Davidson United Methodist Campground will hold its 140th annual revival encampment on Friday, July 26, through Sunday, August 4, 2024.

Dr. Kyle Peters, pastor of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church in Hooks, Texas, will hold the services this year. Services will be held daily at 11 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. The dress is casual.

An opening Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, July 25, at 7:45 p.m. by Rev. Zeke Allen, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Arkadelphia. The Memorial and closing services will be held on Sunday, August 5, at 11 a.m. by Rev. Jim Henderson, pastor of both Smyrna and Delight Methodist Churches. Special music will be announced during the camp meeting. 

Crafts for children will be Monday through Friday at 3 p.m.

The campground is located 12 miles west of Arkadelphia off of Highway 26.
